River Edge Selects New Director of Human Resources

MACON - Rita Wright-King, MSHR, CCP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, SWP has joined River Edge Behavioral Health as its new Director of Human Resources. 

“River Edge intentionally sought to hire a professional capable of significantly elevating the human resources function at River Edge to support our valuable team members.  We are delighted that Rita has chosen to join the River Edge team to make life better for the people and communities we serve,” said Dr. Shannon Terrell Gordon, Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. Wright-King holds not only a masters in human resources but also numerous, advanced professional credentials in the field.  A sought after trainer by the Society for Human Resource Management, Ms. Wright-King also brings more than twenty years’ experience as well as Fortune 500 experience to the role.  A perpetual learner, Ms. Wright-King is studying for global and HR analytics certification.

Of her new position, Ms. Wright-King said, “I turned down other employment offers to join River Edge.  The mission is meaningful.  I am impressed by the track record and leadership team at River Edge, and I am excited to bring my skills and experience to help make life even better.”
