Counseling and Support

Groups

River Edge offers a variety of targeted and evidence-based groups to support recovery. These groups are structured to provide peer support, education, and skill-building opportunities.

  • Adult Groups: These include diagnosis-specific groups that focus on particular mental health conditions:
    • co-occurring illness groups for those dealing with both mental health and substance use issues
    • trauma recovery groups to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences
    • grief recovery groups for those coping with loss
    • anger management groups to develop healthier ways of expressing and managing anger
    • family violence intervention groups aimed at breaking the cycle of violence and promoting healthy relationships
