What are your services?
River Edge Behavioral Health offers help and hope to the Central Georgia community by providing mental health, substance use disorder, and intellectual and developmental disabilities services, as well as supportive services to those affected by these conditions such as supportive housing and supported employment.
What are your hours?
Our outpatient centers are open Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Macon Recovers is open Tuesday – Saturday 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM. All Crisis Centers and residential facilities are open 24/7/365.
Where are you located?
Our primary outpatient and crisis centers are located in Macon and Milledgeville, Georgia; however, we have facilities in Forsyth, Warner Robins, and Gray, Georgia for specific services.

Does River Edge serve the general public?
Yes! Anyone can be seen by one of our professional providers at our outpatient and crisis locations. “We Make Life Better” by offering a wide range of evidence-based counseling and psychiatric services and treatments to optimize health, growth, independence, and well-being for adults, children, and their families. Regardless of one's background, socioeconomic status, or level of need, we ensure that everyone has access to high-quality mental healthcare.
Does River Edge accept my insurance?
Currently, River Edge does not accept private insurance. We do accept Medicaid and Medicare and offer a sliding scale fee for the uninsured.
