River Edge Behavioral Health offers evidence-based, youth-driven, and family-focused services for children and adolescents ages 5 to 18. The Outpatient services include medication management, behavioral health assessments, therapeutic services (individual, family, and group), crisis intervention, and psychiatric stabilization. Our Child and Adolescent school-based mental health program, called APEX, provides services within the school setting in several counties. Also, the InTUNE program is designed for young adults between the ages of 16 to 30 who are experiencing symptoms of psychosis for the first time within the past 24 months.

River Edge Recovery Center

The River Edge Recovery Center offers a full spectrum of evidence-based crisis stabilization treatments for behavioral health needs. Care is provided 24 hours a day, seven days per week, by professional and licensed staff. Clinical detoxification or psychiatric stabilization services are based on comprehensive assessments toward a plan to build an individualized foundation for ongoing recovery. Clinical needs are continually assessed, with the person being served as an active contributor to the planning process.

A local alternative to hospitalization, the 44-bed Recovery Center includes two crisis stabilization units – one for adults and one for children and adolescents ages 5-14. Each specialized environment features unique supports focused on soothing, stabilizing, and strengthening individuals with behavioral health needs for returning to a productive and meaningful life in the community.
