MACON – River Edge Foundation selects Macey C. Kilgore as its new Chief Philanthropy Officer. Ms. Kilgore holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the prestigious Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University as well as a Masters in Public Administration, with a focus on non-profit management, from Georgia Southern University.

River Edge Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Shannon Gordon, said, “In addition to her national caliber education, Macey Kilgore apprenticed for nearly three years with the Foundation’s inaugural Chief Advancement Officer, Sue B. Chipman, CFRE. During this time, Macey helped secure both annual and major gifts and supervised day-to-day Foundation operations. Macey’s combination of training and experience makes her the logical choice to lead the next phase of sharing the River Edge story of hope to inspire giving to make life better in central Georgia.”
