More than sixty-one million adults in the United States experienced mental illness, according to statistics from 2024. In the same year, forty-nine thousand suicides were recorded in the United States.   Overdose is the leading cause of death in America for adults ages 18-45, including in Georgia. On average, approximately two hundred people die from overdoses each day in the United States. More than 900,000 people across Georgia are in long-term recovery from addiction.
