Supportive Housing

To assist individuals’ recovery, River Edge coordinates supportive housing resources for people who meet the HUD definition of homelessness and have a documented mental health or substance use disability. Residents receive wraparound services to help them remain stably housed and to help them build a better life for themselves. Already, more than 389 individuals formerly homeless now have stable, permanent housing as they pursue lives of recovery and contribution!

Housing Referral Process:

  • An assessment will have to be completed by the Macon-Bibb Economic Opportunity Council (EOC), Inc. 456 Bay Street, Macon, Georgia Phone: (478) 738-3240 / (478) 738-3258.
  • Once the assessment is complete, and an individual scores an 8 or above, a housing referral will be sent to River Edge Housing by the Macon-Bibb EOC.
  • We do not accept housing referrals directly. They must come from the Macon-Bibb EOC.
