Project Connect is a substance abuse program for addicted mothers with children. The program has three levels of care. They are substance abuse intensive outpatient, day support, and peer support which address the special needs of addicted women who are pregnant, post-partum, or who have children under age 17. The program provides transportation, day care services, GED classes, temporary shelter, and a nutritious lunch. Staff assist clients in obtaining food, shelter, and medical assistance. Project Connect now has transitional supportive housing. There are four apartments in which mothers and their children reside while waiting to be approved for Section-8 housing. While in treatment, the mother may find part-time employment, save money, and obtain her own apartment.

The clients participate in a Ready for Work component of Project Connect and become subsequently prepared to handle the demands and stress of maintaining employment.

Services are available Monday-Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.

After hours appointments are scheduled as necessary.
