Confidentiality

All client information at River Edge Behavioral Health Center is protected by State and Federal law. Information is never released except by consent of the client/guardian, or as otherwise required by law.

Fees

The fees charged for services at River Edge are among the most competitive in our area. Our financial counselors are trained to work with each client to set fair and reasonable payment plans based on individual evaluation. River Edge counselors will also verify insurance and pre-certify treatment if required by insurance carrier. No person will be denied if unable to pay. For questions regarding finances or insurance, please call (478) 751-4446 or (478) 751-4507.

Involuntary Evaluation Authority

Under the provision of Georgia law, all Physicians, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Licensed Clinical Psychologists are required, in an emergency situation, to ensure that clients receive emergency care. If a client at risk refuses care, staff are required to evaluate the client to ensure that appropriate emergency services are provided for their care and safety.

Protective Services

Whenever there is suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children, adults, or the disabled, Georgia Law requires that the Department of Family and Children Services are notified within the county of residence.

Formal Complaint Process

Any client, guardian, parent of a minor, representative or family member may file a complaint alleging violation of client's rights. Every complaint will be fully investigated and undergo a formal review. You will be provided a copy of the formal complaint procedure and assistance in filing a complaint by contacting Consumer Relations at (478) 751-3590.
